Student Recreation & Wellness Center

The Student Recreation and Wellness Center (SRWC) is a LEED certified, 126,500 square foot, 2-story, state-of-the-art recreation facility located on the east side of the California State University, Long Beach campus. The facility is a hub for recreational activities, Fitness, and Wellness services. 

BREEN participated as a consultant to Cannon Design.  The Center includes a new structure, pool and patio area, and parking lot.  Due to the limited undeveloped site area, a CDS unit is now being used to treat stormwater from the parking lot.  Site grading was designed so that hardscape and roof drainage can be directed to landscape areas wherever possible.
