An exciting new multi-purpose retail, commercial and residential development on Jefferson Boulevard in Playa Vista. The neighborhood has grown exponentially in the last few years, with many upscale residential, commercial and mixed use developments. Runway is a blend of big box and specialty retail, cinemas and hospitality spaces, including many national chains, above which floats several levels of modern residential units.
After the individual retail spaces have been leased, BREEN works in concert with the property development owners, the tenant coordination architects and the tenant’s own designers and engineers, to ensure that all the mechanical, electrical, plumbing , telecommunication and (sometimes) structural, is brought into the new space to serve the individual needs of the tenant, according to the nature of their business. For some clients, we simply document and permit the required connections above and below the space. For others, we have assisted the business owners through the entire tenant improvement process. While the technologies that we at BREEN provide remain mostly invisible, they must seamlessly perform in the background to create ‘the’ experience, all the while meeting the realities of an energy hungry world.
