The project scope consisted of campus wide replacement of damaged pavement in the playground areas and providing site drainage to comply with LA County LID requirements. Incidental to the project are ADA site upgrades, parking repairs and remodel of the restroom building.
BREEN provided Architectural, Civil, Structural, Electrical and Plumbing design. Landscape design was provided by another consultant in which BREEN coordinated with the playground design in which ‘cool’ pavement coating was specified to mitigate urban heat island effect and provide a comfortable environment for the students. The project was completed on 10/2020 and received DSA close of file with certification on 11/16/2020.
